You Are Imperfect, and That Is What Will Make You Successful in Life.
Make the choice to be real rather than trying (in vain) to be perfect.
Perfection is something that most people fantasize about.
This is evidenced by the growing number of people who undergo cosmetic surgery to improve what nature gave them at birth.
Many people can't stand the ravages of time on our bodies, even though it is the most beautiful gift that life can give us. There is no greater gift than to be able to grow old and enjoy life.
Your aging body is proof that you are still alive. This is a blessing when too many people die prematurely from serious illnesses or accidents.
Many people think they have to become perfect to succeed
To be successful, many people also think that you have to be perfect.
The proof is given by social networks and the media that constantly highlight success stories of people who seem perfect. Too few people take the time to dig into these stories that are only fabulous on the surface.
If you were to dig, you would find that these people have not had overnight success, but more importantly, there is nothing perfect about them.
Like you and me, these people are imperfect. However, you have the impression that they are perfect because that is the image they want to sell you. These successful people who can make you dream have also had an incredible number of failures in their lives.
They have had doubts and are imperfect.
The imperfection of human beings is a universal truth as is mortality. We are all mortal, and we are all imperfect.
Your imperfection is a gift that you must make your greatest ally
That being said, it is up to you to choose what you will do with this gift that nature has given you. In my opinion, your imperfection is a gift that you will have to use to your advantage in life.
Many will give in to the easy way by choosing to fit into a mold to try to become perfect as the consumer society wants to push us to do. Cosmetic surgery is just an illusion. You will age sooner or later. You must accept it and take advantage of it.
Use your experiences to become wiser and wiser rather than regretting the time when you could do more things.
At every age, you will have different things to do. At every age, you will have opportunities. But at every age, it is your uniqueness that will allow you to eventually attract the light.
The imperfections that make you unique allow you to achieve great success
To be truly unique, you must choose to remain imperfect. If you go on an endless quest for perfection, you will look like the majority of people who only fail at it. The fact that all these people look the same prevents them from standing out from the rest of society.
You probably don't want to stay in the crowd. Otherwise, you would never have thought about becoming perfect.
By remaining imperfect, you will remain yourself. That's the most important thing on earth. But you will have to learn to take advantage of your imperfections. It is the work of all of us to achieve great things.
By practicing hard in your chosen field, sooner or later you will achieve great things.
The light is only waiting to shine on unique people doing unique things. It will be up to you to catch your share of light in life at the right time. While remaining yourself, you will fully enjoy life, because you can be yourself.
By being yourself in all circumstances, your successes will be real, and even more interesting, they will be lasting. There is nothing worse than success achieved by playing a role that is not yours. Sooner or later you will be forced to become yourself again.
Everything starts from the choice to be real rather than trying to become perfect
The day you understand that you were created to be real and not to be perfect, you will have taken the first step that will change everything else in your life.
You will be able to start the most beautiful path: the one leading to your own success. You will be able to live your life to the fullest while maximizing your chances of achieving what should be the goal of all of us in life: contentment.
This was simply a message from someone imperfect, but unique, who commits you to make the same choice in your life.
What if you can't stand being piss poor or uneducated?
What if you can't stand not finding a way to stay healthy or alive?
Could you say your statements still make sense?
Its a polarised argument with no right or wrong answers. You are comparing upper echelons of high society with twisted morals to those less fortunate who have little in the way of food or even shelter. Would it be real enough to die of some mystery disease than live say a perfect life with every need tended to and live in luxury enjoying the pampered life. Definitely not as both extremes have their falloff points, perfection in this case is more about achieving an inward resolution to the outward noise crushing your chances at success. I would say under that definition striving for perfection is not all that bad. Its more about how you angle the argument.
