In economic difficulty since the COVID-19 pandemic, Xi Jinping's China's ambition to become the world's leading power ahead of America by 2049 seems to be taking a turn for the worse.

Why 2049, you may ask? Quite simply, 100 years of Communist China!

That's the goal Xi Jinping set himself when he took over as head of China in March 2013. Re-elected for an unprecedented third term in China in 2023, it would appear that Xi Jinping will remain the head of his country for as long as he likes. Proof that he holds the keys to China's future in his hands.

For many, this stability at China's helm allows the country to think further ahead in terms of strategy than Western democratic powers can afford. This is, of course, to the detriment of the freedom of the Chinese people, whose field of expression is non-existent and whose lives are codified by the CCP's directives.

When it comes to long-term strategy, it's interesting to note that China has been secretly stockpiling massive quantities of raw materials for several years now.

The big question behind this strategy followed by Xi Jinping's China is what is China preparing for?
