Just like me, I suppose you always had friends to tell you that your dreams were unattainable. You know, those friends who don’t do anything extraordinary with their lives, and prefer to spend their time trying to ruin yours.
Those friends who are jealous of your desire to succeed, and who set out to demoralize you.
If it wasn’t friends who did this with you, you probably have a similar experience with a few family members or even neighbors. I think you see the type of people I’m talking about.
In the world of personal development, these people have a name that removes any ambiguity about their intentions towards you. They’re called toxic relationships. The advice that always comes back about these toxic people is always the same: you have to get them out of your life as quickly as possible.
To convince you of this, I suggest a little trip into the past.
A little story that reveals the problem
It is on June 19, 1982. The evening promises to be exceptional for all the students of Palmetto High School in Miami. Indeed, it is the graduation day.
