Success is above all a matter of mindset. If you have the right mindset, then you will have the best chance to succeed. There is no guarantee that you will succeed of course, because other parameters come into play, but your chances will be maximized.
I don't know about you, but I've noticed that people who don't succeed in life usually say the same type of sentences all the time. Loser's phrases in my opinion, even if it may seem slightly provocative.
In the following, I give you the 10 favorite loser phrases that you must avoid to develop, then keep, a winning mindset.
I’ll start Monday
I meet people every day who keep putting off what they need to do now. They can do it, but they tell themselves that they will start next Monday. Or some other day, it doesn't matter. The point here is that procrastinating is not the way to achieve your goals in life.
You put off actions of course, but do it by choice, and for good reasons. Never put off until tomorrow what you can do today.
It’s not my fault
Taking responsibility for your mistakes or failures is the only way to learn from them. If you keep saying it's not your fault, you're doomed to make the same mistakes over and over again. It is not easy to take responsibility for your actions, but it is the only way to move forward in life.
I can’t do it
I could never do it, it's impossible. This sentence is always repeated by those who fail in any way. The first step to success is always the same: convince yourself that you can do it. Once you are convinced that you can do it, you are already 50% of the way to success.
If you doubt this, I invite you to read or re-read the book “Think and Grow Rich” by Napoleon Hill. You will discover why positive mental reinforcement is so important to success in life.
It’s not fair
And yes, life is unfair! You have to accept it to take advantage of it. If you don't do it as soon as possible, you will end up wallowing in failure and mediocrity like all those who keep saying that it's not fair that it happens to them.
The worst part is that they are right. It is not fair. However, this is the way life is. So you have to accept it to move forward because you can't change the nature of things.
I don’t have time
No one has enough time in life. However, some people manage to fit in time better than others. We all have 24 hours in our day. It's a matter of prioritization. You have to allocate your time to what is important to you.
If something is important enough to you, you will always find a way to allocate the necessary time. To do this, you will have to sort out what is essential and what is not. It's hard work, but necessary to be on the winning side.
I’m offended
There are some things in life that you will not like, that's obvious. However, don't waste time getting upset about things you can't change. Move on quickly to focus on the things you can control. This is key to using your time more productively as well. Don't waste time complaining unnecessarily.
You suck
Here again, we are in the middle of complaining about the behavior of others. The behavior of others is something you have no control over. Accept it and adapt to it so that you are no longer a victim of it in the future. It's as simple as that. Don't spend time trying to change others. It's a waste of time, and you'll end up even more upset.
Get over it. It's life.
She/He got lucky
Luck favors the bold, as they say. When something happens to someone, we always feel that we would have deserved more than this person. We tell ourselves that this person is lucky, without even thinking about all the efforts made by this person to make luck smile on him.
Because in life, luck usually strikes the people who put themselves in a position to benefit from it. Chance is therefore not so much chance. It is provoked.
I’m too tired
Everyone is tired. If you are, take a break to recharge your batteries, but don't make the mistake of those who keep going as best they can but will complain even more. This will only hurt you on all levels. When you do things, do them fully without letting fatigue be a problem.
It’s easy for you to say that
You look at your situation, and then you look at other people's situations. You see that they had initial advantages over you. Then you tell them that it's easy for them to say that given where they started. You are right to think that but wrong to waste time complaining about it.
Life is unfair as I told you before. This is a truth that you need to integrate to move faster towards your future successes. You have to deal with the game that life gives you. Make the most of it and have no regrets.
