Recently, someone asked me what are the great truths of life that we must accept sooner or later if we want to move forward.
I found the question interesting, but also difficult. Reducing it to ten truths is a difficult exercise. Nevertheless, I propose to share the fruit of my reflection with you in the hope that you will not hesitate to do the same in your comments.
So here are the ten truths that seemed obvious to me:
Everyone dies at some point. So we must enjoy each day as if it were the last.
Family is the most important thing in the world. Never forget that, and enjoy it while you can.
Nothing is permanent in life. This applies to success or failure as Winston Churchill said: “Success is not final, failure is not fatal: it is the courage to continue that counts.”
Failure is part of the road to success. You should never be afraid to try new things. It is the best way to succeed in life.
Being kind to others is the key to a happy life. Those who do good are always rewarded some day for their good deeds.
The past cannot be changed. Stop complaining about your past. Focus on the present to build the future you dream of.
Life is a marathon, not a sprint. Those who reach the top and stay there are those who take care of their bodies and minds.
Success doesn't always depend on you alone. Many times you will have done everything you need to do to succeed, but failure will still be the outcome. Adapt, don't get discouraged, and continue on your path more motivated than ever.
You need to focus on what you can control in life.
Money does not make you happy. It is only a means to happiness, because it is the quest for happiness that is essential in life. To do this, you must absolutely find your end in life.
The sooner you accept these truths, the better it will be for you.
I look forward to hearing your comments.
