Is the Ghost of America’s 2008 Crisis About to Resurface in 2024?

Some of the similarities are uncanny.

American real estate is starting to impact Europe, with two German banks under threat. This type of statement is reminiscent of the situation in 2007 when the mechanics of the 2008 financial crisis were set in motion. The 2008 crisis was the worst in almost a century.

And yet, here we are in 2024 as I write these lines.

History doesn't always repeat itself, but it often rhymes.
