DeepSeek quickly reached the top of the AppStore in America.

What's more, DeepSeek's models are open source and were built in two months for less than $10 million. All this with a team of fewer than 200 people. In contrast, OpenAI has over 4,500 employees and is constantly raising funds to continue its growth. The same is true of all the other players in the world of generative AI.

DeepSeek built something nearly as advanced as OpenAI, with 22 TIMES fewer employees.

Some are even talking about a Sputnik moment for the AI world, with the start of a frantic race between America and China in the field. If DeepSeek could be built so “easily”, why did Donald Trump have to announce his Stargate plan to invest $500 billion over the next 4 years?

For some, this DeepSeek is simply a DeepFAKE.
